At Dr Skn, we perform a thorough consultation prior to any Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This includes taking a detailed medical history, conducting a physical examination and taking photographs. We encourage our clients to share their concerns, expectations and questions during the consultation. We will also discuss the risks and post-treatment advice, ensuring that our clients fully understand them before signing a consent form. If a new area is being treated, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. Additionally, if your skin type is III or higher, a topical application of serum or product may be required for four weeks before treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility, and therefore a patch test will be performed before any treatment to ensure suitability. Following successful patch tests, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours, unless certain medications are detected during your medical history, in which case the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks.
