At Dr Sknn, a consultation will be conducted prior to the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, which includes a thorough medical history, physical examination, and photographs. During this time, any concerns, expectations, or questions can be addressed, and post-treatment advice and potential risks will be discussed and fully understood before signing a consent form. For new areas being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. In cases where the patient has a skin type of III or higher, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are top priorities at Dr Sknn, and a patch test will be performed to determine suitability for the treatment. If medications are found during the medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to 2 weeks. After a successful patch test, the treatment will be delivered.
