At Dr Sknn, we conduct thorough consultations prior to Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Our medical experts will review your medical history and perform a physical examination, including taking photographs. This is an opportunity for you to express any concerns or questions you may have about the treatment, its results and your expectations. We will also discuss any risks associated with the treatment and offer post-treatment advice to ensure you are fully informed before signing a consent form. If the treatment is being performed on a new area, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical application of serum or product may be needed for four weeks before treatment. Our priority is to ensure the safety and eligibility of all our clients, so we perform full consultations and patch tests before proceeding with the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to two weeks.
