CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that is utilised to enhance the look of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This laser therapy operates by targeting and eliminating a fraction of the surface of the skin to stimulate collagen production and enhance overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into thousands of tiny micro-columns, which are then directed to the affected region. This laser treatment is frequently employed to treat wrinkles, skin discolouration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin irregularities, and it is also beneficial in improving the appearance of stretch marks and laxity in the skin. The CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that does not require any downtime, making it distinct from other laser treatments. It is a safe and effective method of reducing the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities, and it can also be used to enhance skin tone and texture. This laser treatment can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms, and the outcomes of this procedure can usually be seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we provide an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. This laser stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect, which is delivered over the skin in a methodical even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission. The tissue in-between is spared, resulting in a quicker healing process. We employ this particular mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat a range of aesthetic issues, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Cheadle Hulme - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser

When you come in for a consultation at Dr Sknn, we'll start by taking your medical history and performing a physical examination, complete with photographs. This is your chance to raise any concerns, ask any questions and discuss your expectations and desired results. Before your Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we'll also discuss any post-treatment advice and potential risks with you to ensure you fully understand the procedure. In addition, if it's your first time receiving treatment in a certain area, we'll perform a small patch test to make sure the treatment is suitable for you. If you have skin type III or higher, we may need to apply a serum or product topically for four weeks prior to your treatment. At Dr Sknn, your safety and suitability for the treatment are our top priorities. We never take a one-size-fits-all approach, and only proceed with the treatment after a full consultation and successful patch test. Please note that if you're taking certain medications, the patch testing may be extended up to two weeks.
