During your consultation, a complete medical history and physical examination, including photographs, will be conducted. We understand that you may have concerns, expectations, questions or wish to discuss the results. We will discuss the potential risks and post-treatment advice with you to ensure you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or above, a topical serum or product may be required four weeks before the treatment. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and we perform a full consultation to determine if the treatment is suitable for you, followed by a patch test. Successful patch testing will allow us to deliver the treatment 48 hours post-patch testing. However, if any medication is found in your medical history, patch testing may extend to two weeks.
