In addition, if it is the first time you are having the treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III or higher, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to the treatment. At Dr Sknn, your safety and eligibility for the treatment is of the utmost importance. Therefore, a full consultation and patch test will be conducted before the treatment, as not everyone is suitable for the same treatment. After the successful patch test, the treatment will be scheduled within 48 hours, but please note that patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
