Before the treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed with you to ensure you have a complete understanding, and a consent form will be signed. If it's your first time getting treatment on a specific area, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. For those with skin type III or higher, a serum may be required four weeks before treatment. Safety is a top priority at Dr Sknn, so every patient is evaluated for eligibility before undergoing treatment. If deemed suitable, a patch test will be conducted and, following a successful outcome after 48 hours, the treatment will be administered. However, if any medication is found in your medical history, patch testing may be extended to two weeks. Additionally, if you have skin type III or higher, a product may need to be applied topically for four weeks prior to treatment.
