CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. By targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface, this laser stimulates collagen production, improving overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns, which are then delivered to the affected area, treating wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin irregularities. It is also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and laxity in the skin. This non-invasive procedure is safe and effective, and it does not require any downtime. It can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The results of this procedure are usually seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm treats a variety of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. It improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. The new skin production is stimulated within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect, which is delivered over the skin in a

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Resurfacing Alderley - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser Resurfacing

At Dr Sknn, before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you will have a thorough consultation which includes a medical history and physical examination, along with photographs. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. The risks associated with the treatment and any post-treatment advice will also be discussed, and you will be asked to sign a consent form to ensure you fully understand everything. In addition, if it is your first time having treatment in a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to make sure it is suitable for you. For those with skin types III and above, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and suitability are our top priorities, which is why we perform a full consultation and patch test before treatment. After 48 hours post patch testing, if successful, we can proceed with the treatment. However, if you have taken certain medications in the past, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks. If you have skin type III or above, a topical product may be required for four weeks prior to treatment.
