Our team will also discuss any post-treatment advice and potential risks associated with the treatment to ensure you fully understand the procedure before signing a consent form. If the treatment area is new, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For patients with skin type III or higher, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks.
