The risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed with you in detail to ensure you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. If it is your first time receiving treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. If you have skin type III+, a topical application of serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are of utmost importance at Dr Sknn, which is why a full consultation and patch test are mandatory before any treatment is delivered. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. However, the patch testing period may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found in your medical history. Additionally, a topical application of product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment if you have skin type III+.
