At Dr Skn, our consultations for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment involve a thorough medical history and physical examination, including photographs, to assess suitability for the treatment. During this time, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. We ensure that prior to treatment, any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment are fully explained to you and a consent form is signed. For new areas being treated, a small patch test is carried out to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment is our top priority, and we perform full consultations to ensure that each patient receives personalised care. Following a successful patch test, we are able to deliver the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment after 48 hours. Please note that if certain medications are found in your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks.
