At Dr Sknn, we conduct thorough consultations before performing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Our consultations involve a medical history review and physical examination, including photographs. We encourage our clients to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions they may have regarding the treatment. During this consultation, we provide post-treatment advice and discuss the associated risks to ensure that our clients fully understand the procedure. If it's the client's first time in the treated area, we perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. Additionally, if the client has skin type III or higher, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Sknn, the safety and eligibility of our clients are of the highest priority, and therefore, we conduct a patch test before the treatment to ensure suitability. If found eligible, we proceed with the treatment after 48 hours post patch testing. However, if the medical history review reveals certain medications, the patch testing may extend up to two weeks. Moreover, if the client has skin type III or higher, a topical application of the product may be necessary for four weeks before the treatment.
