The consultation includes a medical history review, physical examination, and photographs to ensure eligibility and safety for the procedure. During the consultation, patients have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions, as well as set expectations for their desired results. We also provide detailed post-treatment advice and discuss any associated risks to ensure that patients have a full understanding before signing a consent form. Additionally, for new treatment areas, a small patch test is performed to ensure suitability. Patients with skin types of III+ may need to apply a topical serum or product for four weeks before treatment. We prioritize patient safety and eligibility, and if found suitable for treatment, we administer the Fractional CO2 Laser after a successful patch test. Please note that patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during the medical history review.
