If the treatment is new to the patient or a new area is being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. For patients with skin type III or above, a topical serum or product may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility for treatment, which is why we conduct full consultations and patch tests before proceeding with any treatment. If the patch test is successful, treatment may be carried out 48 hours later. However, if certain medications are found during the medical history review, the patch test may be extended up to two weeks.
