CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular type of laser treatment used to improve the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. This laser works by removing a fraction of the surface of the skin to stimulate collagen production, resulting in improved skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns which are then delivered to the affected area. This non-invasive procedure is safe and effective, and does not require any downtime. The treatment can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are usually visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. This methodical, even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission results in faster healing. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm treats a range of aesthetic concerns including fine lines, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, enlarged pores, and stretch marks. It also improves skin thickness and hydration, resulting in a healthier, youthful appearance.

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Royton - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser

At Dr Skn, before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a consultation will be conducted which includes a thorough medical history and physical examination, along with photographs. This will provide an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have, as well as to receive post-treatment advice and discuss any risks associated with the procedure. Additionally, a consent form will be signed. In case it's the first time a new area is being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure the suitability of the treatment. For those with a skin type of III+, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are the highest priority at Dr Skn, and a full consultation is always performed to ensure that treatment is suitable for you. If deemed suitable, a patch test will be conducted, and if successful, treatment will be delivered within 48 hours. However, if any medication is found during your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. Also, if you have a skin type of III+, a topical application of product may be needed for four weeks before treatment.
