At Dr Skn, our priority is to ensure safety and eligibility to treatment. During the consultation, which includes a medical history and physical examination with photographs, you'll have an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have regarding the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Prior to the treatment, we'll discuss any post-treatment advice and the risks associated with the treatment to ensure you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. If it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For individuals with a skin type of III+, a topical application of serum or product may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment. We believe that one size doesn't fit all, hence the full consultation and patch test prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours, though patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
