At Dr Sknn, we conduct a thorough consultation that includes a medical history, physical examination, and photographs to assess your suitability for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the consultation, we provide an opportunity for you to express any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have, and we discuss post-treatment advice and the potential risks associated with the treatment. In addition, we perform a patch test for new treatment areas to ensure suitability. For patients with skin type III or higher, a topical product may be required for 4 weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, and we only proceed with treatment if the patient is deemed suitable after a consultation and patch test. If certain medications are taken, the patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks.
