CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular laser treatment used to improve the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles, scars, and age spots. The treatment works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and enhance skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into several tiny micro-columns, which are delivered to the affected area. This procedure is effective in treating wrinkles, acne scars, skin discoloration, and laxity, as well as improving the appearance of stretch marks. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser is non-invasive and does not require downtime. It is a safe and efficient method of reducing the appearance of skin irregularities and enhancing skin tone and texture. The procedure can be used on various body areas, including the face, neck, chest, arms, and abdomen. Results are usually seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. The laser is delivered over the skin in an even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission. This spare tissue in-between results in a faster healing process. We use a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat a variety of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. The treatment improves pitting of the skin, pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, sun-damaged skin, lines, wrinkles, and skin complexion, ultimately enhancing the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis. This results in a healthier, glowing, and youthful appearance of the skin. The treatment is suitable for all skin types.

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Timbersbrook - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser

At Dr Skn, as part of the consultation process for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs. This will provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have regarding the treatment, its expected results, and any associated risks. Prior to the treatment, our team will ensure that you fully understand the post-treatment advice and potential risks, and you will be asked to sign a consent form. In cases where the treatment is being performed on a new area, a small patch test will be carried out to determine suitability. If your skin type is III or above, you may be required to use a topical serum or product for four weeks before the treatment to prepare your skin. At Dr Skn, we prioritize safety and eligibility for treatment, and therefore, a full consultation and patch test will be conducted before the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be carried out after 48 hours. However, if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to 2 weeks.
