The risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment advice will also be discussed and a consent form will be signed. For new areas being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are the top priorities at Dr Skn, and a full consultation and patch test will be conducted before proceeding with the treatment. Successful patch tests are required before the treatment can be delivered, and patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history.
