CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment commonly used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This particular laser targets and removes a fraction of the skin surface, prompting the production of collagen and improving the overall tone and texture of the skin. The laser beam is divided into numerous small micro-columns, which are then administered to the affected area. It is an effective solution for skin discoloration, wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and skin laxity. This treatment is non-invasive and does not require any recovery time, making it a safe and effective way to decrease the appearance of skin irregularities while also enhancing the tone and texture of the skin. It can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are generally visible within a few weeks and can last for months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for face, neck, décolleté, and body areas, using a mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns. This laser treatment enhances skin hydration, thickness, and complexion while also addressing fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin, ultimately leading to a healthier, more youthful, and radiant skin appearance.

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Woodley - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser

At Dr Skn, your consultation will begin with a thorough medical history, physical examination, and photographs to determine your suitability for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have about the treatment. The risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment advice will also be discussed to ensure that you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+ then you may need to apply a topical product for four weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are of the utmost importance at Dr Skn, and as such, a patch test will be performed to ensure suitability before the treatment can begin. After 48 hours of successful patch testing, the treatment can be delivered, but please note that the patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history.
