Dermal fillers are gel-like cross linked sterile synthetic material made from Hyaluronic acid, which is a natural biodegradable component of our own skin that can be synthesised. What Should You Expect Before The Procedure?
At Dr Sknn, prior to any filler procedure, Dr Shaffu performs a full medical history. Dr Shaffu then will perform a full aesthetic consultation looking at your face, skin and evaluate which signs of ageing have occurred. During the consultation there will be an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. Prior to treatment any risks associated with the treatment are discussed ensuring you fully understand them. Can Dermal Fillers be Reversed?
Depending on the area however at Dr Sknn we use hyaluronic acid based fillers (Juvederm) which can be reversed using hyaluronidase.
