To ensure safety and suitability of the treatment, a consent form will be signed and a patch test may be conducted to determine if the area is suitable. If the skin type is identified as III+, a topical serum may need to be applied for four weeks prior to the treatment. At Dr Sknn, an extensive consultation is conducted to assess eligibility for the CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. Following a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can commence. However, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch test period may be extended to two weeks.
