At Dr Sknn, we provide an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment which can markedly enhance the look of scarring caused by a variety of factors. This therapy stimulates the creation of fresh skin in the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. The laser is sent out in a precise and methodical pattern, with even spacing between each pulse, protecting the tissue in between and resulting in a speedier healing process. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is particularly effective in treating a variety of aesthetic issues such as undesired scars, fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, enlarged pores, texture, sun damage, stretch marks, and lax skin. This treatment can improve skin complexion, thickness, and hydration, resulting in a healthier and more youthful-looking appearance. At Dr Sknn, we are devoted to assisting you in attaining smoother, more even-toned skin, and raising your confidence.

Doctor Led Face Scars Cheadle Hulme - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Face Scars

At Dr Sknn, in advance of CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, a comprehensive consultation shall take place that includes your medical history and physical examination including photographs. This gives you the opportunity to raise any queries, expectations, results or concerns that you may have. Before the procedure, any potential risks and post-treatment advice related to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be discussed in detail and a consent form will be signed to make sure you understand the process entirely. When the area is being treated for the first time, a small patch test will be performed to determine its suitability. Furthermore, if your skin type is identified as III+, a topical serum may need to be used for four weeks prior to the treatment to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the procedure are of the utmost importance and a full consultation will be held to decide if you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. If the patch test is successful after 48 hours, the treatment can be done. However, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may have to be extended up to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product could be necessary for four weeks before the treatment.
