CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment used to improve skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. This type of laser targets and removes a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and improve skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area. The procedure is non-invasive and does not require any downtime, making it a safe and effective way to reduce wrinkles and skin irregularities. It can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are usually seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. The laser is delivered over the skin in a methodical even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission, resulting in a faster healing process. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser is used to treat a variety of aesthetic concerns including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged

Doctor Led Facial Laser Treatment Manchester - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Facial Laser Treatment

At Dr Skn, a comprehensive consultation will be conducted before the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, which includes taking your medical history, performing a physical examination and taking photographs of the treatment area. This is also an opportunity for you to discuss your concerns, expectations, results and any questions you may have. Our team will also discuss with you the post-treatment advice and risks associated with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, ensuring that you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. In addition, a small patch test will be performed for new treatment areas to ensure their suitability. If your skin type is III or above, you may need to apply a topical serum for four weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, and our team will perform a full consultation to determine if you are suitable for the treatment. If found suitable, a patch test will be performed before the treatment, and if successful, the treatment can be delivered 48 hours later. It's important to note that if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch test may be extended to two weeks. Additionally, for skin types of III or above, a topical product may be needed four weeks before the treatment.
