CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular type of laser treatment that aims to improve the appearance of skin irregularities, such as wrinkles and scars. This laser treatment involves targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and enhance the overall texture and tone of the skin. The laser beam is divided into numerous micro-columns and applied to the affected area. This non-invasive procedure is effective in treating various skin concerns, such as skin discoloration, acne scars, age spots, and stretch marks. It is also useful in improving skin laxity and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. One of the advantages of this treatment is that it does not require any downtime. At Dr Sknn, we use a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to perform Fractional CO2 Laser treatment on different areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. This advanced laser treatment is suitable for all skin types and helps in producing new skin within the dermis and epidermis by using ablation and thermal effect. Why Choose Dr Sknn for Facial Laser Treatment

At Dr Skn, our priority is safety and ensuring eligibility for treatment with Fractional CO2 Laser. During the consultation, a thorough medical history, including a physical examination and photographs, will be taken, followed by a discussion of any concerns, expectations, and questions you may have. We will also discuss post-treatment advice and the associated risks, ensuring you fully understand them and sign a consent form. Additionally, a small patch test may be performed for new treatment areas to ensure suitability, and if you have a skin type of III+, a topical serum may be required four weeks prior to treatment. Our team will assess your eligibility and perform a patch test, as we understand that one size does not fit all. Following a successful patch test, the treatment will be administered after 48 hours, but note that patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are found in your medical history. In cases where skin type III+ is present, a topical product may be required four weeks before treatment.
