Doctor Led Facial Scar Treatment West Didsbury - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Facial Scar Treatment

At Dr Sknn, prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, a consultation will be undertaken including assessing your medical history and physical examination, with photographs taken. This provides the opportunity to ask questions, set expectations, and discuss any concerns. Any risks and post-treatment advice regarding CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be talked through beforehand and a consent form will be signed to ensure complete understanding. When treating the area for the first time, a patch test will be done to assess its suitability. Should your skin type be identified as III+, a topical serum may have to be used for four weeks prior to the procedure to ready the skin. Safety and appropriateness for the treatment are of utmost importance at Dr Sknn and a full consultation will be conducted to determine if you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. After 48 hours of a successful patch test, the treatment can proceed. If specific medications are present in your medical history, the patch test period may be extended up to two weeks. Additionally, if your skin type is III+, a topical product might be mandatory for four weeks before the treatment.
