Following the treatment, the affected vessels are assimilated by the body, leaving almost no trace of the initial lesion.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is used at Dr Sknn to make the most of light energy, which is absorbed by the blood vessels. This causes them to spasm and/or collapse, and over the following weeks, the damaged vessels are absorbed naturally by the body, leaving very little trace of the original lesion.
