At Dr Skn, a consultation will be conducted before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This includes a medical history check and physical examination, along with photographs. During the consultation, any concerns, expectations, results, or questions regarding the treatment will be discussed. Additionally, post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure will be thoroughly explained and a consent form will be signed. If the treatment is being performed on a new area, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure its suitability. For individuals with skin types of III+, a topical application of serum or product may be required for four weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility to the treatment are the highest priority at Dr Skn, therefore, a full consultation will always be conducted to determine suitability. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be performed after 48 hours. However, if certain medications are found during the medical history check, the patch testing may be extended to two weeks.
