At Dr Skn, we offer Fractional CO2 Laser treatment which involves a medical history review and physical examination, including photographs, during the consultation. This is an opportunity to address any concerns, expectations, and questions you may have about the treatment, as well as discuss any potential risks and post-treatment advice. If it is your first time getting the treatment, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the area being treated. In cases where your skin type is III or higher, a topical application of serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, so a full consultation will be conducted before the treatment, and a patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment for you. If the patch test is successful, the treatment can be carried out after 48 hours. However, if you are taking certain medications, the patch test may be extended up to 2 weeks. Additionally, a topical application of product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment for skin types of III or higher.
