The risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment care advice will also be explained to ensure that you have a complete understanding before signing a consent form. If the treatment area is new, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. Additionally, if your skin type is classified as III+, a serum or product application may be required for four weeks before the treatment. Safety and eligibility are the top priorities at Dr Skn, and as such, a patch test will be conducted to assess suitability before delivering the treatment. In some cases, the patch testing may extend to two weeks if certain medications are found during the medical history review.
