At Dr Sknn, we offer a consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment where we take a thorough medical history and conduct a physical examination, including photographs, to determine your eligibility for the treatment. During the consultation, we provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have, as well as set expectations for the results. We also provide detailed information on the risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment advice to ensure that you have a full understanding of the procedure. If it's a new area being treated, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. In case your skin type is III or higher, a topical application of serum may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility, and thus we perform a patch test prior to any treatment to determine the suitability of the procedure. The patch test may take up to 48 hours, and in certain cases, it may extend up to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history. Additionally, for those with skin type III+, a topical product may be required 4 weeks before the treatment.
