At Dr Skn, we perform consultations for our Fractional CO2 Laser treatment where we conduct a medical history, physical examination and take photographs to ensure eligibility and safety. During the consultation, we encourage clients to discuss any concerns, expectations or questions they may have, and provide them with information on post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment. We also perform a small patch test if it's a new area being treated to ensure suitability. In cases where the client has a skin type of III+, we may require a topical application of serum or product for four weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Skn, we prioritize the safety and eligibility of our clients, and as such, perform a full consultation before any treatment is administered. Following successful patch testing, we are able to deliver the treatment after 48 hours, although patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are found during the medical history assessment.
