During the consultation, a thorough medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs, to ensure suitability for the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have, and any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will be fully explained before you sign a consent form. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical application of serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, treatment can be delivered after 48 hours, though patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
