CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of skin irregularities, scars, and wrinkles. This treatment involves targeting and eliminating a portion of the skin's surface to promote collagen production, thus enhancing skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into tiny micro-columns that are transmitted to the affected area. This technique is commonly used to treat various skin conditions, including age spots, acne scars, skin discoloration, wrinkles, and stretch marks. Furthermore, it is effective in enhancing skin laxity and the overall texture of the skin. One significant advantage of this non-invasive procedure is that it does not require any downtime, making it a safe and convenient option for many. The treatment can be used on any body area, including the face, neck, arms, chest, and abdomen, and usually shows results within a few weeks, lasting for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for various body areas. Our CO2 laser at 10,600 nm treats various aesthetic concerns, such as wrinkles, fine lines, pigmented lesions, dyschromia, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin, among others. The precise spacing between each laser emission and the spare tissue in-between results in faster healing. The laser stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect in a methodical even pattern. Ultimately, the treatment enhances the skin's thickness and hydration, improving its overall complexion, resulting in a more youthful, healthy, and glowing appearance. This treatment

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Fractional Laser

When you visit Dr Sknn for a consultation regarding Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs. This is also an opportunity for you to express any concerns, ask questions or discuss your expectations and the potential results of the treatment. Prior to the treatment, all risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed with you to ensure that you fully understand them and can provide informed consent by signing a consent form. In case it is a new area being treated, a small patch test may be performed to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. If your skin type is III+, you may need to use a topical serum or product for 4 weeks prior to the treatment. At Dr Sknn, safety and eligibility are of utmost importance, so a full consultation and patch test will be performed to determine your suitability for the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be performed after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found in your medical history, the patch testing may need to be extended to 2 weeks.
