During your consultation, our medical team will perform a thorough medical history and physical examination, including photographs, to assess your suitability for treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have, as well as to understand the post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment. If it is your first time being treated in a specific area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin types of III+, a topical application of serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. If found suitable for treatment, we will perform a patch test, which typically takes 48 hours to assess for any adverse reactions. In the event that certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks.
