This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have, as well as discuss your desired results. Before the treatment, you will be fully informed of the post-treatment care and potential risks associated with the procedure, and a consent form will be signed. In some cases, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure the treatment is suitable for you, particularly if it's a new area being treated. If your skin type is III or higher, a serum or product may need to be applied topically for four weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility are paramount at Dr Skn, and a patch test is always performed before delivering the treatment. Depending on your medical history, the patch test may be extended up to two weeks.
