CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This type of laser works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface to encourage collagen production and enhance the overall texture and tone of the skin. The laser beam is divided into thousands of tiny micro-columns that are transmitted to the targeted area. CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that does not require any recovery time, making it a safe and effective method to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities. It is often utilized to treat a variety of skin conditions, such as age spots, acne scars, and skin discoloration, as well as stretch marks and skin laxity. This laser treatment can be performed on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results of this treatment can be seen within a few weeks and may last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we provide a sophisticated Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production by ablating and thermally affecting the dermis and epidermis in a methodical, even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm can treat various cosmetic issues, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. It can also improve skin pigmentation, pore minimization, premature aging, skin hyperplasia,

Doctor Led Fractional Laser Macclesfield - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Fractional Laser

At Dr Skn, our consultation process for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment includes a thorough medical history, physical examination and photographs. This provides an opportunity for patients to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions they may have regarding the treatment. Prior to the treatment, all risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed to ensure full understanding, and a consent form will be signed. In addition, if it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. Our top priority is safety and eligibility for treatment, therefore a full consultation is carried out to assess suitability, followed by a patch test after 48 hours. Please note that patch testing may be extended up to two weeks if certain medications are found during the medical history assessment. In addition, for skin type III+, a topical product may be necessary for four weeks before treatment.
