When you visit Dr Sknn for a consultation regarding Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you can expect a thorough medical history review and physical examination, including photographs. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, and questions you may have about the treatment. Before proceeding with the treatment, our team will provide you with post-treatment advice and discuss the associated risks to ensure you have a complete understanding, and a consent form will be signed. If it is your first time getting the treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to determine suitability. For those with a skin type of III+, a topical serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. At Dr Sknn, we prioritize safety and eligibility, and therefore we will perform a full consultation and patch test before proceeding with the treatment. After a successful patch test, the treatment can be administered within 48 hours, but please note that patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were identified in your medical history.
