We will also discuss post-treatment advice and any potential risks associated with the treatment, ensuring that you fully understand everything before signing a consent form. If it is the first time you are receiving treatment in a particular area, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. In addition, if your skin type is III or above, a topical application of serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment can be performed after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found in your medical history, the patch testing may need to be extended up to 2 weeks.
