If you are having treatment in a new area, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+ then a topical application of serum may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are the highest priority, so a full consultation is always performed before treatment. If you are found suitable for the treatment, a patch test will be carried out. If successful, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks.
