During the consultation, patients have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions they may have, as well as their expectations and desired results. The risks and post-treatment advice are also thoroughly discussed to ensure full understanding, and a consent form is signed prior to treatment. In addition, if it is the patient's first time having the treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For patients with a skin type of III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priority, and we perform full consultations and patch tests to ensure the treatment is suitable for each individual patient. Successful patch testing is required before the treatment can be delivered, which typically takes 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during the medical history, the patch testing period may be extended to 2 weeks.
