CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that is commonly used to enhance the appearance of skin irregularities, scars, and wrinkles. This laser treatment is achieved by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface, which stimulates collagen production and enhances the overall texture and tone of the skin. The laser beam is split into thousands of micro-columns, which are delivered to the affected area, making it effective in treating skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and laxity in the skin. Unlike other laser treatments, this non-invasive procedure does not require any downtime and is safe and effective for all skin types. This advanced fractional CO2 laser treatment is used on various parts of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The results of this procedure can be seen within a few weeks and typically last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we use a mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat different aesthetic concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. This treatment ultimately improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis,

Doctor Led Full Face CO2 Laser Resurfacing - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Full Face CO2 Laser Resurfacing

At Dr Sknn, a thorough consultation will be carried out prior to Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This includes a medical history and physical examination, along with photographs, to assess suitability for the treatment. During the consultation, patients will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, and ask any questions they may have. Any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will also be fully explained to ensure patients have a complete understanding before signing a consent form. For new areas being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If a patient has a skin type of III+, a topical serum or product may need to be applied for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priority, and therefore, a patch test will always be performed to ensure suitability for the treatment. After a successful patch test, treatment can be delivered within 48 hours. However, if any medication is found during the medical history, the patch test may need to be extended to two weeks.
