At Dr Skn, when you attend a consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a medical history will be taken, and a physical examination, along with photographs will be performed. This is an opportunity to discuss your expectations, concerns, and ask any questions you may have regarding the treatment. Prior to the treatment, any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will be explained to you to ensure you fully understand them. A consent form will also be signed before proceeding with the treatment. In addition, if it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. At Dr Skn, safety and eligibility for the treatment are of the utmost importance. Hence, a full consultation will be performed to determine if you are suitable for the treatment. If deemed appropriate, a patch test will be carried out, which usually takes 48 hours for results.
