You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have, and any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will be discussed to ensure that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. In addition, a small patch test will be performed for new areas to ensure suitability. If you have skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are paramount at Dr Skn, and a patch test will be performed to determine suitability. Successful patch tests will allow for treatment after 48 hours, but patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
