This includes a thorough medical history review, physical examination, and taking photographs of the treatment area. During the consultation, patients will have an opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions they may have regarding the treatment, expected results, and post-treatment care. The risks associated with the procedure will also be explained, and a consent form will be signed to ensure patients fully understand the treatment. If it's the first time a patient is being treated, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure suitability. For those with skin types of III or above, a serum or product may need to be applied topically for four weeks before treatment.
