During this consultation, patients are given the opportunity to discuss their concerns, expectations, and ask any questions they may have about the treatment. Any potential post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment are also explained to ensure full understanding before signing a consent form. For new areas being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If a patient has a skin type of III+, a topical serum or product may need to be applied for four weeks prior to treatment.
