At Dr Skn, we conduct thorough consultations to ensure the safety and eligibility of our clients for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the consultation, a medical history, physical examination and photographs will be taken. We provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have, as well as to provide post-treatment advice and discuss any risks associated with the treatment. A consent form will also be signed prior to the treatment. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin types III or higher, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. Our priority is your safety, and as such, no one-size-fits-all approach is taken. Following successful patch testing after 48 hours, treatment may proceed, but please note that patch testing may be extended up to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history. Additionally, for those with skin types III or higher, a topical application of product may be required for four weeks prior to treatment.
