At Dr Sknn we utilise the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL), employed by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to safely and efficiently treat Intense Pulsed Light on skin types I-IV. By emitting light in a specific wavelength, Dr Sknn can target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to treat Intense Pulsed Light at varying sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the adjoining skin. After treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body and very little, if any, indication of the original lesion remains.
