At Dr Sknn we utilise the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL), which is also used by NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to safely and effectively treat Intense Pulsed Light on skin types I-IV. By releasing light in certain wavelength ranges at Dr Sknn, we aim for absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin enabling us to treat Intense Pulsed Light of diverse sizes and at different depths while causing minimum harm to the skincare around. Subsequent to the procedure, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body and practically no sign of the initial lesion remains.

At Dr Sknn, we make use of IPL to gain from light energy, the light is taken in by the blood vessels which heats them to a point where they constrict and/or collapse and are sealed.
