By emitting light in specific wavelength ranges we can target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, permitting us to treat Intense Pulsed Light of various sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the neighbouring skin. Upon completion of the treatment, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body, leaving little or no indication of the initial lesion.
